Geneva lags behind on English and math skills tests
In New York’s annual assessment of students’ proficiency in language and math, the Geneva Central School District falls far behind statewide numbers.
Students in grades 3 through 8 are tested in two areas: English and language arts, and mathematics. The proficiency of Geneva students in those grades during the 2022-2023 academic year is represented by the blue bars. Proficiency of students statewide is displayed in gray.
