GENEVA CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT

The above data looks at two populations. The left column counts all people living within the boundaries of the Geneva City School District. The right describes students currently enrolled in district schools.

The underlying map shows school district boundaries. The Geneva district includes the city and town of Geneva, and extends into Phelps and Seneca in Ontario County; the Town of Benton in Yates County; and the Town of Waterloo in Seneca County.

As a result, the total population of the district is significantly larger – by 38% – than the population of the city alone. And from a collective impact standpoint, the school community is also much larger than the city. It encompasses more than 7,000 households and more than 40 square miles.
