The thrust of Geneva 2030 is collective impact, rather than direct services. We analyze data, identify needs and help bring together community organizations to meet those needs.

However, there are programs in which we are more immediately involved. These include:

Students Outside All Summer

In 2024, we launched an outdoor education program in Coopers’ Woods behind the Hobart and William Smith Colleges campus. SOS, provided in collaboration with Moodie’s School, received rave reviews from children and parents. See details.

College and Career Center

The center helps students navigate the uncertain waters of secondary education and post-high school employment, with career chats, visits to colleges, a college fair and other services.

Tutor Corps

Geneva 2030 and HWS Tutor Corps launched the “Enlaces” initiative in 2024, expanding bilingual and English Language Learner (ELLs) programs. The Tutor Corps, which now includes 27 bilingual tutors, works with  elementary school students through America Reads and the Boys and Girls Club of Geneva.

Community gathering

Geneva 2030 and Success for Geneva’s Children hold a joint community meeting each fall.

Parent Power

Our most important collaboration is with families. In 2025, Geneva 2030 launched a series of bilingual gatherings that bring Geneva parents and caregivers into the heart of decision-making and data reflection. Co-created with two lead parent partners, the model is rooted in the belief that families are not just participants – they are partners in shaping solutions for Geneva’s youth.
