DATA – EMPLOYMENT

Geneva’s civil labor force in 2021 totaled 6,489 people age 16 and older. The unemployment rate among these residents was 4.1 percent.

According to the New York State Department of Labor, the countywide unemployment rate in Ontario was 2.7 percent in December 2022. Statewide, it was 4.3 percent.
