Student Success

Geneva 2030 continued to strengthen literacy, school success and summer learning through partnerships with Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Geneva City Schools and other community organizations.

More than 100 students received individualized tutoring through Hobart and William Smith Colleges’ Tutor Corps. Geneva 2030 partnered with Tutor Corps, Geneva City School District, and community tutoring sites to strengthen tutor training, align instruction with the Science of Reading, and connect families with resources that reinforce learning at home.

Mission Summer Smart brought together more than 30 summer programs into one community guide and enrollment event, making it easier for families to find the right opportunities for their children.

In partnership with Moodie’s Children’s Hours School, Students Outside All Summer (SOS) engaged 140 Geneva youth in a summer of outdoor learning, literacy, and hands-on exploration.
